Higher Grounds Cafe & The Cellar Bar is downtown North Sydney's independent cafe/bar. We offer a great cup of coffee, plain and simple. You know, the kind of coffee that's so good, you're left feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on anything. We're proud to serve Full Steam Coffee's organic, fair-trade and kosher brews and support this local Guysborough roastery. We also have a delicious selection of baked treats to accompany your cup of joe!
But, at night we transform to a relaxed, chill cafe/bar where you can enjoy light fare and desserts with your favorite beverage - coffee/tea, wine, beer, or cocktails.
This space has been created for the enjoyment of our customers and community. We invite you to grab a friend, stop by, and take a moment to sit for a short while and chat.
